Mini Beast Hunt

So which Mini Beast can you find in Glenny Wood?? Here is the challenge and what to do:-

• Agree an area that you can use, best not to be middle of grass but close to a tree or hedge.
• Split into small groups 
• Explain what you want them to do and that they should be careful with any living creatures they find.
• Using the 4m lengths of rope, set out a small (1m square area) to be explored
• Get the young people to explore what creatures they can find in it.
• Give then 15 minutes to find as many creatures they can.
• Use the guides to identify the creatures.
• See what else they can see in there area.
