At Glenny Wood Scout Campsite we welcome members of the Scout and Guide Association D of E Groups, Schools, along with otherorganisations with a similar ethos
So visit us for an evening or day or over night stays camping or in the lodge
Sorry - We are not open to the general public, families etc.. to camp / stay on site
BOOKING PROCESS to follow on OSM
1 - PLATEAU BOOKING - Select your plateau to use as a visit base / camp on or "not using plateau" line
2 - ACTIVITIES BOOKINGS - Select your activities or "bring own activities" line. We have a wide range of activities, which you can see through this process and via our website -

3 - TO ADD ACTIVITIES - do this if you wish to add activities after you have made a booking - create a new booking, add in the dates as usual and the number of participants leave as ZERO (0). Select the additional activities as normal. Please book only for the times you will be using them.

Thank you for your booking to use Glenny Wood Scout Campsite. The T&Cs have been developed over many years based on the experiences whilst running our campsite.
In making this booking at Glenny Wood campsite you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:-
1 - The details and booking are as per your approved confirmation via Online Scout Manager. Use only the areas / facilities / activities as per your booking.
2 - Your time at Glenny Wood will be run under your organisation rules and guidelines. Where these are not in place you default to the Scout Association rules and approach - https://www.scouts.org.uk/volunteers/following-rules-and-policy/
3 - When using the site and activities you must follow Site Risk Assessments and Factsheets as set out on the Glenny Wood website - https://glennywood.org.uk
4 - Young people must be supervised whilst at Glenny Wood, especially when undertaking activities, including the confidence course area.
5 - Prior to leaving please clean everything you have used including the toilets, showers, lodge, plateaus, activity equipment etc. In doing so please ensure everything is put away in its rightful place, neat and tidy. Please also ensure you leave no litter behind.
6 - Please take ALL rubbish away with you, leave nothing on site.
7 - For safety and environmental reasons No Dogs or other pets allowed on site. In addition no chainsaws to be used or fireworks let off.
8 - Cars only allowed on site tracks and parking areas. Mini buses and similar sized vans are the largest vehicle allowed to transport people to and from the site. No coaches.
9 - When at Glenny Wood Scout Campsite you always follow site motto - "Take nothing but photographs and memories – leave nothing but footprints”

WHOLE SITE SOLE BOOKINGS
If you wish to book Glenny Wood for Groups of 80 plus or book the site for your exclusive use, check availability on OSM but do not at this stage book via OSM rather email Alison at booking@glennywood.org.uk
and explain the reasons for the request and we can then take this further.
1 - A 20% non refundable deposit invoiced via OSM, is to be paid within 21 days of booking please
2 - Full payment of fees are due to be paid, no later than 14 days prior to your visit.
- A 20% surcharge may be made for late payment
